Rental terms
Reserved capacity is confirmed only after written acceptance and cleared payment. Access details, GPU count, rental window, support scope, storage assumptions, exposed ports, and renewal terms are defined before provisioning.
- Customers are responsible for their code, models, data, licenses, backups, and account credentials.
- Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours ahead wherever possible and kept short.
- Service credits, where offered, are written into the specific rental agreement.
- Uptime targets and credits come from your signed quote — not from marketing copy.
Payments and deposits
Standard rentals are prepaid by invoice — Interac e-Transfer or invoice, in CAD or USD. Monthly reservations may require first month plus a security deposit for new customers.
- Security deposits are held, not spent, until contract terms allow applying them.
- Deposits may cover unpaid invoices, abuse handling, overages, or early termination as agreed.
- USDC can be accepted for approved reserved customers through a business invoice process.
- TorontoGPU does not provide currency exchange, custody, or money transmission services.
- Payments from mixers, sanctioned parties, or unverifiable third-party wallets are rejected.
Refunds and cancellation
Service is month-to-month unless a longer term is signed. Either side can walk — that is the product working as designed, not an exception.
- Cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Evaluation periods, where quoted, bill only the discounted hours actually used.
- Verified downtime against a quoted uptime target is credited pro rata on the next invoice.
- Prepaid amounts for future unstarted periods are refunded on cancellation; the current period is not prorated.
Acceptable use
The service is for lawful AI, research, rendering, inference, fine-tuning, and related compute workloads.
- No malware, botnets, exploit development against third parties, credential theft, phishing, spam, or DDoS activity.
- No unauthorized scanning, scraping, account creation, or network abuse.
- No illegal content, unlawful surveillance, or activity violating sanctions, export controls, or platform rules.
- Regulated, health, financial, or personal data requires written approval and appropriate safeguards first.
- No crypto mining unless explicitly approved in writing.
- Access may be suspended for security risk, abuse reports, legal risk, non-payment, or policy breach.
Privacy and monitoring
Host-level monitoring keeps the hardware safe and reliable: GPU utilization, temperature, power, VRAM usage, uptime, port state, network health, and error logs.
- TorontoGPU does not inspect customer files, prompts, datasets, model outputs, or traffic content in ordinary operations.
- On termination, customer instances and data are destroyed within 7 days of the end of the paid period; export is available before then.
- Security investigations may require reviewing limited metadata or taking emergency protective action.
- Encrypt sensitive data and keep independent backups — we say this because we mean it.
- All compute and storage are physically in Toronto, Ontario, under Canadian jurisdiction. Facility address available under NDA.
Support and access
Support scope depends on the quote. Basic rentals include access provisioning and hardware/network health checks. Managed setup can include Docker, SSH, Jupyter, vLLM, or inference endpoint preparation.
- You reach the operator with physical access to the machine — phone and email, business hours, Toronto time.
- Customer application debugging is not included unless managed support is quoted.
- Root access to your own environment is standard; host-level access is limited to protect other infrastructure.
Marketing and claims
TorontoGPU markets capacity with factual claims backed by live hardware, invoices, and monitoring data.
- No fake scarcity, fake availability, fake customer logos, or unsupported uptime promises.
- Commercial outreach identifies TorontoGPU, includes usable contact information, and honors opt-out requests.
- Website pricing is indicative and subject to availability, workload, bandwidth, storage, and duration.
Tax and records
Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated. HST at 13% applies to services supplied in Ontario and is generally recoverable by registered businesses as an input tax credit; the GST/HST registration number appears on each invoice. Invoices may be issued in CAD or USD.
If crypto-assets are accepted for taxable services, invoices reflect fair market value at time of payment per CRA guidance. These are operating policies, not legal or tax advice — your counsel and ours get the final word.
